Holmfjellet copper-zinc project

Copper, Zinc 25 km2 100% Teako

VMS-style Cu-Zn project of roughly 25.3 km² in Central Norway.

Teako’s 100% owned Holmfjellet Project is located on Røssvassholmen island in Røsvatnet, Hattfjelldal, Nordland, and covers 25 km2. A recent NGU soil sampling programme (10 samples on a regional grid) identified anomalous Cu values, which have not been followed up by further exploration efforts1. The geology is dominated by graphite-bearing phyllite with quartzite lenses and a greenschist unit, alongside marble horizons and intrusive quartz-diorite and granite in the west. Intense shearing and mylonitic zones along intrusive contacts indicate strong structural controls. While magnetic and EM data show anomalies coinciding with Cu soil anomalies, graphite-rich host rocks likely dominate the conductive response, limiting the effectiveness of EM surveys. The exploration focus is therefore field based: detailed mapping, lithogeochemical sampling, and investigation of the greenschist unit to assess volcanic affinity and VMS potential. Follow-up high-density soil sampling is recommended to refine Cu anomalies.
