Bekkosen copper-zinc project

Teako’s 100% owned Bekkosen Project consists of two claims (totalling 17 km²) in eastern Trøndelag, near Røros. The area benefits from strong infrastructure, including transport links and access to ports at Orkanger and Trondheim. The area is adjacent to the known Røros mining district which hosts multiple historic base metal mines, with mining dating back to 1645. The district contains multiple strata-bound, massive sulphide deposits interpreted as VMS systems, hosted in metasedimentary rocks due to deformation, remobilisation, and thrusting. Exploration targeting is guided by an EM survey undertaken by the NGU 1999 connecting known deposits and identifying additional targets over the project. Here coincident EM, magnetic, and VLF anomalies occur, although surface sampling has not identified significant Cu or Zn anomalies, likely due to thick overburden. Elevated nickel values suggest possible sulphide mineralization at depth^1,2.
