TIB2 granite-gneisses-style U-Th-REE project of roughly 70.5 km² in Northern Norway.
The 100% owned Tverrfjellet project area covers 71 km2 and is situated in the southernmost extent of the Tysfjord Window granite gneisses. The area around Tverrfjellet demonstrates a lot of evidence for enrichment in REEs, Uranium, Mo and other incompatible elements with the Kalvik U-Mo mineralization directly to the west of the project area. There are also reports of significant enrichment in REEs within the granite gneiss by Stendal in the 1990s with grades up to 1.3% Zr, 0.9% Ce, 0.45% La, 0.35% Nd, 0.2% Y, 0.16% Th, and 0.1% Nb (NGU, 2010)1.
While no uranium mineralization has been identified on this property, local enrichment of incompatible elements and REEs is a good indicator the property will contain highly evolved geochemical signatures within the correct target lithology (TIB-2 granite). Only a small section of this project area was covered by the NGU’s 2012 till sampling campaign, providing an obvious step for further exploration.

1Teako has not performed sufficient work to verify the published data reported above, but the Company believes this information to be considered reliable and relevant. Results reported are maximum values and may not be representative of all samples collected within the area being evaluated
2References made to nearby mines and analogous deposits provide context for the regional targets but are not necessarily indicative that these targets host similar tonnages or grades of mineralization.
