Skutvika rare earth elements-thorium project

Rare earth elements, Thorium, Uranium 19 km2 100% Teako

TIB2 granite-gneisses-style U-Th-REE project of roughly 18.8 km² in Northern Norway.

Teako’s 100% owned Skutvika Project covers around 19 km2 and is located in Hamarøy Municipality in northern Nordland. Regional Road 81 provides convenient access to the licence area, while the village of Skutvika offers nearby port facilities. The project comprises two contiguous licences and represents the westernmost U-REE project within the Tysfjord region. The geology of the Tysfjord region is dominated by Precambrian, evolved granite gneisses of the Transscandinavian Igneous Belt (TIB). These basement rocks are overlain and structurally associated with Caledonian nappe complexes comprising metasedimentary rocks, mica schist, amphibolite, and arenite. The TIB rocks, which also constitute the principal geological setting of the Gjerdalen, Svarthola, Tverrfjellet, and Tjerlandet projects, comprise subalkaline, metaluminous and strongly deformed granites that have been transformed into granite gneiss. These rocks display an A-type, anorogenic affinity and are enriched in REE and Zr (Müller, 2011). Allanite is a common accessory mineral in metaluminous to weakly peraluminous felsic rocks and, together with zircon, represents one of the principal hosts of REEs in the project area (Vlack et al., 2007). As this project is the most greenfield of the metasomatic uranium projects, regional scale soil/till sampling should be completed across the project area to assess the prospectivity before more advanced methods of exploration are deployed. Following identification of anomalies, tighter spaced geochemistry data and eve geophysics data can be utilised to refine targets.

1Teako has not performed sufficient work to verify the published data reported above, but the Company believes this information to be considered reliable and relevant. Results reported are maximum values and may not be representative of all samples collected within the area being evaluated

2References made to nearby mines and analogous deposits provide context for the regional targets but are not necessarily indicative that these targets host similar tonnages or grades of mineralization.
