Magmatic-style Ni-Cu-Co · Au project of roughly 140.0 km² in Southern Norway.
The 100% Teako owned Espedalen Project covers ~140 km2 of ground in the historic Espedalen Nickel district. The project straddles the Espedalen valley, which is flanked on either side by mountainous terrain up to ~1450 m above sea level. The project area has seen significant mineral exploration activity in the 1970s, 2000s and as recently as 2023, with small-scale historical mining in the district across at least 15 deposits and occurrences being reported in the NGU Ore Database1,2. Three 10 km2 joint-first priority licence claims are held by a third party, Mineral Holding AS, covering the Dalen, Stormyra and Megrund deposits2.
The Project is focussed on the Espedalen Complex, which is the main constituent of the Espedalen Nappe, part of the Jotun-Valdres Nappe Complex.
The mineralization across the Espedalen Project falls into the Orthomagmatic Ni-Cu-Co class, with the key analogue being the world-class Voisey’s Bay deposit in Labrador, Canada. Historic mining in the district dates back to at least 1666, with a copper discovery leading to intermittent mining up until 1750 whilst nickel mining came later, between 1848 and 1918. The most significant period of mineral exploration in the district came around 20 years ago in the early 2000s. Falconbridge Ltd., through their Norwegian Subsidiary Sulfidmalm AS returned to nickel exploration in Norway, undertaking both helicopter and ground geophysical surveys across the Espedalen district in 2003.
The geological concept to drive further exploration and development at Espedalen will be to consider the implications of Conduit-style mineralization for targeting high-grade massive sulphide in the Espedalen Complex.

1Teako has not performed sufficient work to verify the published data reported above, but the Company believes this information to be considered reliable and relevant. Results reported are maximum values and may not be representative of all samples collected within the area being evaluated
2References made to nearby mines and analogous deposits provide context for the regional targets but are not necessarily indicative that these targets host similar tonnages or grades of mineralization.
